The South Beach Diet was great overall, although I did have a few bad days. On the 5th and 6th day I began to crave sugar--a lot. Luckily, I got some tips to help me through. Firstly, I was eating the Fudgesicles (which are allowed) and they were making me crave more sugar.I just went and found different allowable snacks that didn't cause the cravings.
I find that being vegetarian made the South Beach Diet fun because I was able to try some new ways of cooking. As a vegetarian you have to be creative in cooking, and this was just an extension to that.
SO have no fear, just try it.
